India is ready to send back Pakistan’s Ramzan: Sushma Swaraj

In a goodwill gesture following deaf-mute girl Geeta’s return to India, the country’s Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj said on Saturday India is ready to send runaway boy Ramzan back to Pakistan, if the latter is ready to accept him.

Swaraj said in a tweet that Indian High Commissioner TCA Raghavan met Ramzan's mother in Karachi on November 3. “We are prepared to give her Visa to facilitate meeting with her son in Bhopal,” she added.

The Indian High Commissioner had met with the mother of Ramzan and the Indian citizen Salman on Tuesday.

In a meeting held here at a local hotel, he assured that steps will be taken for Salman’s return to India.

Ramzan had crossed over into India three years ago by mistake.
