Let’s not draw wrong meaning from ISPR statement: Imran Khan

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan Wednesday advised everyone not to draw any wrong meaning from the ISPR statement that discussed ‘governance’.

“Wrong meaning is being taken out from the ISPR statement on ‘good governance’,” he said, adding, a democratic government must not consider itself a ‘monarch’ rather it is one that is accountable to the people.

Imran Khan also accused the governments of Punjab and Sindh of committing pre-poll rigging in the Local Government elections, saying both the governments are using police for fixing the polls.

“Governments of Punjab and Sindh have destroyed the department of police….they are being used for winning the Local Government elections,” he maintained.
